expect the unexpected?

Today in my mailbox I find a book I have no memory of ordering -- or being aware if the existence of -- and a slip saying to pick up a package at the post office where the "sender" space, usually left blank, reads simply "RUSSIA". I hope it's more bizarre than it probably will be.

I suspect you will be arrested when you pick it up, but if not, please let us know if it is bound in human skin.
When I went to pick it up, the lady behind the counter was someone I've never seen before, and she didn't know me. She looked around the mailroom and said she couldn't find anything sent to my address. And I could see where the three mailpeople I know put things addressed to me from where I was standing. Curiouser and curiouser.
